LOTRO 30 Day Challenge Part 1

LOTRO 30 Day Challenge

Middle Earth Wisdom threw down a challenge gauntlet a few years back to fellow LOTRO players. I am late to this party, but I am kicking off the new gaming-centered posts doing the Middle Earth Wisdom Lord of the Rings Online 30-day Challenge. Since LOTRO has been my favorite MMORPG since 2007, I figured, why not?

I will be posting the answers to the challenge six prompts at a time on Middle Earth Mondays, except for number 26, which requires an entire post on its own. On Feb. 28th, I will be posting twice; one will be 25 – 30 sans 26 and 26, all by its lonesome. There will be a total of 6 posts in this series.

Let the games begin!

Miss a post in the LOTRO 30 Day Challenge?

LOTRO 30 Day Challenge #1 – 6

1. Pick a screenshot, any screenshot.

My Hobbit Warden patrolling the Shire as the dutiful Bounder she is.

2. Which of your characters is your absolute favorite?

This is not an easy question! I have 2 favorite characters that I play on equally, and both on the Crickhollow server.

Raumolire – level 140 Runekeeper

ScreenShot00289

Yainde – level 140 Minstrel

3. Favorite quest pack or expansion so far.

I adore the Gondor quest packs. The scenery in that region is beautiful, and I loved getting things ready for the big battle at Pelennor Fields.

4. Why did you start playing LOTRO?

Knowing what a Tolkien Geek I am, a friend told me he was beta testing a game called The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. This immediately piqued my interest as he knew it would. I started playing in April 2007 and have never left.

5. Favorite NPC?

This is a difficult question. It’s like asking me which Ranger don’t I like. I adore all the Rangers we interact with, but there are some I like more than others. My favorite Rangers/Grey Company are Candaith, Daervunn, Lothrandir, Radanir, and the only named Ranger in the books, Halbarad.

6. Go on, give us another screenshot!

Raumolire and Skadee getting ready to burn the carcass of the Witchking’s Fell Beast!

Your turn!
