Mailiel, A New Beginning

This Lore-Master is one of many of mine, as the Lore-Master is my favorite class. I have never kept a journal of my other Lore-Master’s journeys from start to finish before. I regret that, especially when it comes to Thangwen, but Mailiel is my chance to do that. Her bio will come later as I get to know her. There have been a lot of changes to the Lore-Master since I started playing many, MANY years ago; not only trait trees, but now you get the bear to start with instead of at level 15. It used to be that you started with the raven and earned your bear at level 15.

What is a Lore-Master?  In case you have stumbled upon this post and have no idea what I am talking about….

The Lore-master is a seeker of knowledge and a guardian of wisdom. He wields ancient secrets and lore to confound his foes and aid his friends, protecting them against the dark powers of the Enemy.  Lore-Masters are also known as Lambengolmor.

I decided to do this on the only server I haven’t played on yet. I wanted to completely start over as if I were a new player, not knowing anyone on the server and only having the items available to me, including the packages for purchasing content, updates. I know using content in the cute little boxes that pop up into your inventory is not really “newb player”, but neither is having a VIP account. I am not going to cancel that just to start a Lore-Master over. 🙂

Mailiel is a young Noldorian Elf from Lindon. Her father name means Daughter of Lust in Exilic, which to me screamed for a great back story. She has dark, almost black hair, with grey eyes, with a slight blueish tinge to them. Perhaps she has Teleri blood somewhere in her lineage? That could be a wonderful part of a back story, don’t you think? Her companion bear is named, Meletyo, also an Exilic name meaning Mighty One, not some lore breaking “anime” name as I was asked in the intro area by another new player.
