Homemade Larabars Chocolate Almond

Quick and easy version of the Larabar for a fraction of the cost!

  • 1 cup of pitted Medjool Dates
  • 1/4 cup almond butter or nut butter of choice
  • 1/2 cup of almonds or nuts of choice
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened coconut shreds
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened dark chocolate cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp water may need more if your mixture is too crumbly.


  1. Put all ingredients into a food processor or blender, blend until the mixture can be made into a soft ball. Add more water if needed.
  2. Pat out onto a parchment lined cookie sheet or cutting board to form a square.
  3. Cut into bars.
  4. Store at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
