Freezer Cooking – My Freezers are about full!

I have been cooking up a storm the past couple months, same as I always do. My freezers are just about full for the winter. I am pretty happy about this.  I honestly had let it all go longer then I should have.  I like to say that it was because I was so busy with work and all that, but frankly, between you and me… It was just laziness on my part.  I didn’t feel like doing it.  I missed a lot of things about it, like having a good home cooked meal no matter how late I work, and the savings my wallet is feeling is worth it too.

So anyway, after about 6 nights of batch cooking, in a matter of 3 months, this is what I have in my freezers.  I am pointing out that most of the items are packaged for a nice sized family unless otherwise noted. I have cooked normal meals in larger portions so I can freeze extras. That kind of counts as batch cooking, I guess. 🙂

(Note:  I make everything from scratch, I have an aversion to boxed crap.. I didn’t grow up with it, so I was already used to making it from scratch… now that I am an adult.. If I can’t pronounce it or spell it with out looking, I don’t eat it.  MSG doesn’t count as being able to spell it.. just saying!)
