As a rebuttal to the 5 songs I hate post, here is a list of the 10 songs I am totally in love with right now.
These songs are in no order, just kinda random. 🙂 If you enjoy the music, please hit up the bands website and buy some tunes.
10 Songs I Love
1. “Just Give Me A Reason,” P!nk feat. Nate Ruess – I ADORE Pink.. and have since I heard her bang up Janis Joplin tributes. I also dig Indy… Love Nate Ruess, so one song two great artists. Works for me!
2. “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark” – Fall Out Boy – I was all excited to hear they were back together and had an album coming out. I wasn’t disappointed at all.
3. “Give It All We Got Tonight” – George Strait – King George.. I have been in love with him since I was 12 years old. Year after year his music just keeps getting better. I own EVERY cd George has ever put out, and seen him a kazillion times.. LOVE!!!!!!!!
4. “Sure Be Cool If You Did” – Blake Shelton – What’s not to like about Blake? I have enjoyed every song he’s put out since the beginning of his career. This song in my not so humble opinion is one of THE best songs of 2013.
5. “Paris” – Magic Man – “A triumphant synth rock band from Providence, RI.” LOVE THIS SONG!! I love Indy… Hell, I love this band! By the way, this band does give out selected MP3s on their website.

6. “The Devil Is An Angel Too” – Janiva Magness – This song is from her 2010 released album of the same name. Sure it’s not from 2013, but I never said that my songs of the moment were going to be of THIS moment. Besides, talent like Janiva’s never goes out of style. Giving you a live version of the song, you need to hear this Blues Woman unedited! She has a pure voice, and proves that what you hear on record is pretty much what you get live.
7. “Find You There” – We The Kings – Ok, you caught me… even the Demon DJ has an Emo crush. I have loved this band since I heard their 2007 single “Check Yes Juliet”. I have all their albums currently released… Check the official videos, you can buy their new tracks from their to be released album for only 69 cents.. that’s even less then a BAD cup of coffee. 🙂
8. “Alive” – Assemblage 23 – Again, not a new song… it’s from their 2009 album Compass just one of my favorite Industrial bands and a song I never get tired of.
9. “Erase Me” – Diorama – An electropop band from Germany…. totally LOVE..
10. “Something Wicked (That Way Went)” – Vernian Process – I love the Steampunk genre, the music, the movies, the clothes… This is my ALL time favorite Steampunk band and song. I can listen to it all day long, and have. 🙂

1: Foo Fighters: Wheels (no explanation needed)
2: Glitch Mob: We Can Stop The World (just that bit of a boost when you need to go faster)
3: The Cinematic Orchestra: To Build A Home (Chilling… relaxing… dreaming)
4: M83: Midnight City (dont know why… just keep coming back to this… )
5: Eddie Vedder: Youve Got To Hide Your Love Away (…its Eddie)
6: The Naked and Famous: Young Blood (speaks of old adventures and coming back scuffed and smiling)
7: Passion Pit: Take A Walk (everyone sometimes just need to take a walk…)
8: Penguin Cafe Orchestra: Perpetuum Mobile (just love it)
9: Apocalyptica: Nothing Else Matters (something about cellos… plus the snow and ice in the vid helps with this heat)
10: Aaron Copland: Fanfare For The Common Man (one of those songs that make anything your doing EPIC!)
Hmm wasn’t in any particular mood as you can tell 😛
Yes, I agree, they sound incredible together, a well match set. I hope that they do a few more together. I like your list a lot. I also have a lot of Foos in my play list at all times. I don’t think I have heard Aaron Copland – Fanfare For The Common Man yet, I will have to check it out. Thanks for posting!
After Note: Ok, I you tubed that song. I have heard it. I just didn’t realize who the artist was.
Its an old song from1943, it was composed as a tribute to both the soldiers and the people back home during WW2. Think it still fits…
